Discord bot written in Python that automates auctions with real-time bidding.

The brief

An auction run by hand in a chat is a well-known mess: someone bids too late, someone misses the message, and it all ends in an argument about who said what and when. The goal was to automate the process so those arguments go away.

What I did

1. Python Discord bot that opens, runs and closes auctions inside a channel.
2. Real-time bidding, with checks for the minimum bid and turn order.
3. Each auction's state is saved, so it survives restarts.
4. Admin commands to open, cancel and close auctions.

The result

The bot handles the whole auction cycle inside Discord: opening, real-time bidding, validation and closing, with the same log visible to everyone taking part.
